Getting Started

Follow this guide to set up your DeFi Guardian dashboard and start monitoring your positions in under 2 minutes.

1

Connect Your Wallet

Click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top right corner. We support MetaMask, Rainbow, Coinbase Wallet, and WalletConnect.
Note: You can also use "Watch Mode" to monitor an address without connecting it, but you won't be able to verify ownership for alerts.

2

View Your Dashboard

Once connected, the dashboard will automatically scan 20+ protocols across supported chains to find your open positions.
You will see a summary card for each position displaying:

  • Health Factor: Green (Safe), Yellow (Warning), Red (Danger)
  • Net APY: Your combined earning/borrowing rate
  • Collateral & Debt: Total USD value
  • Liquidation Price: The asset price at which you will be liquidated
3

Set Up Alerts

Navigate to the "Settings" tab to configure your notification preferences. You can set specific safety thresholds (e.g., alert me if Health Factor < 1.5).

  • Email: Receive alerts directly to your inbox.
  • Discord: Get pinged in your private DMs.
  • Telegram: Receive messages from our official Guardian Bot.
4

Test Your Configuration

We strongly recommend sending a "Test Notification" from the settings page to verify your setup. Ensure that our emails are not going to spam and that you have allowed DMs from our bots on Discord/Telegram.

Important Note on Reliability

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, notifications can occasionally be delayed or missed due to network congestion or third-party API issues. DeFi Guardian is a monitoring tool, but you should always verify your position status directly on-chain or via the official protocol interfaces during times of extreme market volatility.
